THE CASUALTIES OF RESDESIGN
Well, my 19 inch CRT monitor just died. First it began clicking on start up, indicating, like the wheezing of an old man, that it just wasn't going to be able to make it up this particular hill. I've switched back to my old (and I mean really old) 17 inch.
If I had the money, I'd take this as an excuse to upgrade to one of them fancy LCD displays, but since I had a spare sitting around, I think I'll just get used to having less desktop surface area instead. Believe it or not, if this one fails, I've got an old 15 incher that I can use.
I never throw anything away. But I do need to find somebody who will dispose of my broken 19 inch in an environmentally responsible way. So this is still going to cost me.
